Rotary scalding machine for pork
Machine designed for heating animals in contact with hot water, producing scalding.
With this treatment, the aim is to open the pores of the animal’s skin, making the depilation process easier.
The machine consists of a stainless steel AISI-304 tank, open and with insulation panels to prevent heat loss. It has a rotating drum that submerges the animal in the tank.
The tunnel is equipped with the following elements:
- Steam system: Heating is achieved by injecting direct steam, and the steam input is controlled by a gradual valve activated by a PT100 temperature probe.
- Drainage: The machine has a manual valve for drainage. An overflow is connected to this drain so that all excess water goes directly to the drainage pit without overflowing the tank.
Scalding system suitable for productions of 25 to 80 animals per hour.
The temperature can be controlled from the central panel of the slaughterhouse using a temperature controller. It can be programmable, as it may vary depending on the season or the breed of the animal by some tenths of a degree or even a degree.
TECHNICAL DATA
Construction: Stainless steel AISI-304. Upon request from the client, it can be made of galvanized steel.
