On Tuesday, November 28, the Xunta de Galicia presented the first mobile slaughterhouse equipped with a refrigerated semi-trailer, created and patented by Tecnoincar.

This project began two years ago, with a lot of enthusiasm and determination. Thanks to Tragsa, we had the opportunity to make this dream a reality, and we also collaborated with Alegria Activity.
Over the past two years, we’ve undertaken numerous projects with a very stable and powerful team.
We are pioneers in this project; while other companies have managed mobile slaughterhouses, none have been of this scale. It’s essential to clarify that it’s a semi-trailer, 14 meters long and over 2 and a half meters wide, and Tecnoincar holds the patent.
Our engineers have been very clear about the final result throughout this time. The workshop and assembly experts are the ones executing the project.
A clear success story is for the farmers in the Chantada area (Lugo) who were quite interested because it improves the management and profitability of many small-scale farms located in remote areas from large population centers and far from conventional slaughterhouses.
We already had other orders in 2022, for the City of Ceuta, but not of these dimensions.
It has been hailed as “Pioneering in Spain.
Since this project, different companies have contacted us to discuss other similar projects.
The semi-trailer is located in the Chantada industrial park (Lugo).
